Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MortonApps, LLC (“MortonApps,” “we,” “us”), a California company, collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Morton Growth website at mortongrowth.com (the “Site”). Morton Growth is a MortonApps service that builds, hosts, and optimizes custom websites — including managed SEO and AI-search (AEO) optimization — for local and service businesses.
This policy covers the public marketing Site and the consultation form on it. It is what governs the information you give us when you reach out. The specific terms of any ongoing service engagement — including how we handle data on your behalf once you become a client — are set out in the separate signed agreement for that engagement.
1. Information We Collect
We collect very little, and only what we need to respond to you.
From the consultation form. The only personal information you actively provide is what you type into our consultation / contact form. That can include:
- Your name
- Your business name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- Your current website, if any
- The area you serve
- What your business does
- Any message you type telling us about your business and goals
We do not host user accounts on the Site, and we do not collect or process any payment information on the Site.
Automatically, through our infrastructure. Like any website, the Site is served through hosting and content-delivery infrastructure that processes standard technical information to deliver pages and keep the Site secure, such as your IP address (often anonymized at the network edge), your browser type and operating system, the pages you request, and the timestamp and referring URL of each request. This is used to operate and protect the Site and to understand aggregate traffic.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your inquiry and follow up about a consultation
- Understand your business so we can prepare a relevant proposal
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with our legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use it for targeted advertising, and we do not use it to train artificial-intelligence models.
3. Cookies and Analytics
The Site uses only the cookies and local storage needed for it to function, plus a privacy-friendly analytics tool. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the Site at an aggregate level — which pages and elements get attention — so we can improve it. Clarity collects usage and interaction data through cookies and similar technologies; it is configured to mask on-page content where supported. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking on the Site, and we do not sell information collected through analytics.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking non-essential cookies will not prevent you from using the Site or submitting the consultation form.
4. Subprocessors
We rely on a small number of carefully chosen third-party providers to operate the Site and deliver your form submission to us. As of the date of this policy, they are:
| Subprocessor | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Website hosting (Cloudflare Pages), content delivery, DNS, and edge security | Global edge (US-primary) |
| Amazon Web Services, Inc. (Amazon SES) | Email delivery of consultation-form submissions to us | United States |
| Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Clarity) | Privacy-friendly website analytics and session insights | United States |
When you submit the consultation form, it is delivered to us by email through MortonApps’ shared email API, which uses Amazon SES. We may add or change subprocessors over time; this page will be updated to reflect material changes.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:
- With our subprocessors, listed above, strictly to operate the Site and deliver your inquiry to us
- With service providers who help us run our business (for example, an attorney or accountant) under confidentiality obligations
- To comply with the law when we receive a valid legal request
- To protect rights and safety of MortonApps, our clients, or the public
- In connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition, with the same protections we provide today
6. Data Retention
We keep consultation-form submissions for as long as needed to follow up on your inquiry and to maintain a reasonable record of the relationship, generally no longer than 24 months from our last interaction, unless you become a client or ask us to delete it sooner. Technical and analytics data is retained on a rolling basis for security and aggregate reporting and then discarded or anonymized.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the information we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion — ask us to delete information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions
- Restriction or objection — ask us to limit how we use your information
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time and will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, to request access to and deletion of that information, and to correct it. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. International Data Transfers
MortonApps is based in the United States, and our subprocessors are US-based. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. By submitting the form, you understand your information will be handled in the US under this policy.
9. Security
We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, and destruction, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) across the Site and the use of reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the data we collect to a minimum to limit exposure. See our Security page for more.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here.
